These Terms & Conditions apply to the use of the McCarthy Exercise Physiology website and the services provided by McCarthy Exercise Physiology.

McCarthy Exercise Physiology provides clinical exercise physiology, rehabilitation and exercise-related services based on individual assessment, professional judgement and exercise science.
The services provided are intended to support physical health, rehabilitation and exercise participation. They are not a replacement for medical diagnosis or treatment from a doctor or other healthcare professional where this is required.

2. Appointments
Appointments should be attended at the agreed time.
If you are unable to attend an appointment, please provide as much notice as possible.
Where appropriate, missed appointments or cancellations at short notice may be subject to a cancellation charge. Any applicable cancellation terms will be communicated before the appointment is confirmed.

3. Assessment and Exercise
An appropriate assessment will be undertaken before exercise is prescribed.
Exercise programmes are individualised according to your health, current abilities, goals and response to exercise.
You should inform me of any relevant changes to your health, medication or circumstances that may affect your ability to exercise safely.
You should stop exercising and seek appropriate medical advice if you experience concerning or unexpected symptoms during exercise.

4. Individual Responsibility
You are responsible for providing accurate and relevant information about your health, medical history and current circumstances.
You should follow the exercise guidance provided and communicate any concerns, symptoms or difficulties with your programme.

5. Medical Advice
McCarthy Exercise Physiology does not provide medical diagnosis or replace the advice of your doctor, consultant or other healthcare professional.
Where appropriate, you may be advised to seek further medical assessment or clearance before undertaking exercise.

6. Payments
Any applicable fees will be communicated before services are provided.
Payment is due according to the payment terms agreed at the time of booking.

7. Website Information
Information provided on this website is for general educational purposes and should not be considered individual medical advice.
Every person's circumstances are different, and information on the website should not be used as a substitute for an individual assessment.

8. Changes to Services
I reserve the right to make reasonable changes to services, appointments, availability or these Terms & Conditions where necessary.
